  • Facial acupuncture - regenerates the skin, addresses multiple factors of aging, smoothes lines, enhances the firmness and volume of the skin, and optimizes the health of the skin as it works on more than the superficial signs of premature aging.

  • It is preventative and corrective; you can begin at any age. Starting earlier can slow down the aging process by boosting collagen and improving the health of your skin and body. For older patients, facial acupuncture can soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, resulting in brighter skin and an overall more youthful appearance.

  • Initial Appointment includes:
    • a full assessment, a combination of face and body points
    • LED light therapy (to tone muscles, smooth fine lines, stimulate collagen production, treat acne, increase circulation and promote overall health).
    • Gua Sha and/or facial cupping (to sculpt the face, reduce puffiness and relax tension).

For best results, an initial 10-12 treatment cycle is recommended, followed by a maintenance cycle every 4-6 weeks.

Cosmetic acupuncture is not suitable during pregnancy or for areas treated by botox within the last 12 weeks.

  • Appointment will include a full assessment, followed by a combination of body points to ensure balance from the inside, facial points and LED light therapy to tone muscles, smooth fine lines, stimulate collagen production, treat acne, increase circulation and promote overall health. This is the express, bare bones version of the full facial which does not include a cleanse or products.

To book with Gua Sha, cupping and cleansing/skin care products, please book 'Full Works Facial Acupuncture'. No cleanse will be provided for this treatment so please arrive with a clean face.

  • Addresses the appearance of the whole face, improves skin health, firms and brightens the complexion. Whereas botox only temporarily eliminates lines and wrinkles.

    - While Botox works by temporarily inhibiting muscle movements and ‘paralysing’ the muscle, facial acupuncture focuses on stimulating natural processes in the skin such as the stimulation of collagen production, improving blood circulation and relaxing the muscles in the face, which can contribute to a reduction in tension and fine lines.

    - Botox results are generally more immediate and last for a few months, whereas facial acupuncture is a longer term solution and as a result requires multiple sessions and has a more gradual onset of effects.
