    • Chiropractors practice using a holistic, patient-centered approach to care.

    • All visits include a thorough functional assessment in order to generate a clear diagnosis. It is important to figure out the root of the problem and not just where the pain is.

    • Our chiropractor strongly believes that having the right diagnosis allows him to execute an effective treatment plan.

    • All treatments include hands-on manual therapy and are always one-on-one.

    • Chiropractic care provides diagnosis and treatment without the use of drugs or surgery for problems related to your muscles, joints, nerves, and spine.

    • Chiropractic doctors can also provide advice on nutrition and exercise to support recovery and promote prevention.

    • Our chiropractor starts with a detailed postural assessment. Assessing the natural position of our body tells us a lot about the habitual movement patterns of the individual. This gives our chiropractor a lot of vital information regarding the biomechanical imbalances that could be the root of your pain or problem.

    • If your life is disrupted due to back pain, neck pain, headaches, sprains or strains, or another problem involving your muscles, joints, and nervous system, chiropractic care can help you feel like yourself again.

    • Injuries can happen at any stage of life and for various reasons including car crashes, workplace incidents and sports activities. Even simple everyday tasks such as going for a walk or washing the dishes have the potential to cause pain or discomfort that many of us just decide to live with. Sometimes these aches and pains even prevent us from working or doing the things we love.

    • We will discuss your current health, review your medical history, and assess your general lifestyle and wellness goals. This includes a focused examination of your current complaint, as well as a holistic view of your entire body.

    • Our chiropractor will provide a specific diagnosis and prescribe the most effective treatment to reach your goals.

    • Treatment could include any of the following: myofascial release, adjustments, mobilizations, assisted stretching, kinesiotaping, postural, stretching, and exercise education and prescription.

    • You will then be provided with a personalized report that includes what forms of treatment are recommended, prognosis, a timeline, and of course homework! (aka what you need to do to help yourself).

  • Active Release Technique (ART) ®

ART® is a patented soft tissue system/movement-based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Small traumas and/or overused muscles can create a build-up of scar tissue. This can cause reduced range of motion, loss of strength, and pain. If a nerve is trapped you may also feel tingling, numbness, and weakness. ART is a hands-on technique that treats the abnormal tissues to remove scar tissue using tension to the specific muscle combined with precise patient movements.

    Chiropractic Adjustments & Joint Mobilizations

Loss of range of motion or restriction of movement may be caused by poor joint mechanics. Hands on or instrument assisted gentle manipulation or mobilization of the joint can help restore normal, pain-free motion.

    Exercise Prescription

Exercise is a key component in the healing process. Retraining the body to follow correct movement patterns helps to maintain the effects of the treatments and help your body recalibrate for optimal performance.
